Hi everyone!!  Let me start by telling you how excited I am about being a part of the Bobcat Family!  I am also happy to announce that I am a native to the Richlands District Schools.  I attended Richlands Elementary, Trexler Middle School and graduated from Richlands High School.  I feel like I have come back "home!"  I look forward to working with the staff, to create technology centered learning environments for our students.

I graduated from UNCW in 2004 with a Bachelors Degree in k-12 Physical Education and  an add-on licencse of Middle Grades Science.  In 2011 I received my Graduate Degree in Instructional Technology from East Carolina University.

I taught 6-8th grade Science in Duplin County from 2004-2008.  I transitioned to Onslow County School System where I taught 8th grade Science at Trexler Middle School from 2008-2012.  While at Trexler I served as the 8th grade Chair and the Science Department Chair.  I then made a career move to Stateside Elementary for the 2012-2013 school year.  I taught IMPACT/Computers to all k-5 students that attended.  I worked collaboratively with the media coordinator and grade level teachers to design projects that centered around 21st Century Learning.

In my spare time I love to spend time with my family.  My husband is also a native to the Richlands Community and we have two sons named Bryson and Brantley.  We also have two chocolate labs named Hershey and Cocoa, and a rescued australian shepherd named Sox.
